sudo pico /etc/xinetd.d/cvspserver

You don't need to set up a pserver.

Just make sure ssh is working, then tell your other guys to set something like:

export CVSROOT=:ext:email@hidden:/usr/local/CVS
export CVS_RSH=ssh

This should get basic cvs to work remotely the same way as locally.
