Text Navigation - Smart Home

  • Subject: Text Navigation - Smart Home

I have been working with Xcode for a few of months now, trying to get used to the environment. One thing that has bugged me for some time though is the lack of a "smart home" option. Project guidelines (and personal preferences) require me to use copious indentation, with no tabs. In every other IDE I use there is an option to go to the beginning of the text on the line, skipping all the spaces. I can not find this option in Xcode, only the keyboard shortcuts for going to the absolute beginning of the line or paragraph.

I have searched through the mailing list archives the best I can, but I can not find anything on the subject. Does this option exist, and if so how do I enable it?

Thank you,
James Burnett
