This works for unlocalized strings directly in the Info.plist file. But if I try this with strings in the localized InfoPlist.strings files the substitution does not occur.

Any thoughts on doing this for localized strings?

I'm guessing the only way is to create a shell script build phase that runs "genstrings" or something similar to create all localized copies of your strings files. I don't remember if that works for .plists.
