Whenever I get a compilation error I am not able to do any further compilation unless I quit XCode. Even selecting Stop Current Build dosn't seem to do it.
I've not yet found the build setting I need to tweak so any help would be appreciated.

If you have predictive compiling turned on, try turning it off.

I've been having similar problems lately and turned off predictive compiling, but that hasn't fixed the problem.
