hello.
i use mail (afaik version 1.3.7) and my firewall keeps reporting that mail keeps trying to contact 17.250.248.34, which is homepage.mac.com. WTF is going on here? i don't have a .mac membership, and i have configured only one email accounton a server in germany. why does mail keep trying to contact homepage.mac.com?

PS. i posted this here because i know that some apple guys read this list. so what's your take on the situation? chris?
