I just started getting a very similar error. It is a different file in
/SourceCache and in my case it says this:
File: /SourceCache/DevToolsBase/DevToolsBase-310/pbxindex/
PBXCStringStorage.m
Line: 440
Object: <PBXCStringStorage:0x016f9960>
Method: addCString:
bad string offset: 786432
but I get it a least a dozen or so times and then the project seems to
open successfully. I tried doing a clean all and rebuilding but I still
get the error.

project should be an instance inheriting from PBXProject, but it is nil

I can choose to Quit or Continue. If I choose continue, I get this
error and one on line 3733 a good fifty or more times. Then the
project does eventually open.
