Sometimes I open a comment and when I close it, XCode crashes ! It can happen 5 or 6 times in a row, and then never happen again for a month...

If memory serves, this may be related to using multiple fonts in the editor. It's a known issue, but not something that we've heard reported often. I tend use Courier just so I can still have Bold and Italic variants.

Do other people have this problem? When editing code, the completions and auto-brackets etc wreak havoc. Case in point, while editing a simple if statement, I get this:

Once I highlight it, or otherwise force a redraw, I get the correct result:

What's going on here? I can't edit code that may have bugs introduced because the editor can't draw!

This is also something that's been reported in the past, but it's not something that we can reliably reproduce here. If you can reproduce it, please file a bug report at <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter>. Include the file, your preferences settings, and detailed steps to reproduce it.

Thanks,
Dave
