Xcode 1.5 won't debug an executable in the Project directory. Why?

Hi All,

I am using an external makefile, which is in the project directory. I would like to use Xcode to debug the executable, but when I try to get that to happen by selecting that the executable is in the Project directory or use a custom directory set to the Project directory I get the following error:

No executable file specified.
Use the "file" or "exec-file" command.

It works if I cp the file in the terminal to the build directory.

Any way to fix this?
