Hi,
I've hit upon an error during linking while trying to compile a project that has
me bewildered, so I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what it means. I'm
using an API whose static library calls on another static library provided in
the API called libgdal (an image file format c++ library).
I've compiled some test projects in xcode as straight C++ projects, but now I'd
like to make a Cocoa application and so I left working in objective-c++. When
I try to compile my cocoa application, I get the following error:
/Users/wesleysm/Desktop/Geo_DSDK-4.0.9.1/3rd-party/lib/Release/libgdal.a(tif_zip.o)
illegal reference to symbol: _inflateEnd defined in indirectly referenced
dynamic library /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib
Does anyone understand what this is saying?
thanks,
wes
