When I contacted them about this, I got the following response abut
the "new process" -
"Follow-up: 4557870
"Re: Email notifications
"Hello Philip,
"Thank you for contacting us regarding our new process. Please know that
information regarding certain closed reports is visible via the Bug
Reporter through the 'My Originated Problems' tab. These include issues
determined to be Duplicate, Behaves Correctly and Third Party to
Resolve. For such issues the Bug Reporter will serve as resolution
notification.
"In some cases, engineering may include additional information regarding
the resolution of your bug report. Any additional comments made by our
engineers will appear in the Problem Description section of your report.
This information can be viewed by clicking on the 'My Originated
Problems' tab, then clicking on the appropriate Problem ID number.
"If you have any additional questions related to your issues or would
like to check the status of these duplicate bugs in the future, please
feel free to contact us.
"We hope this information is helpful. Thank you for taking the time to
contact us."
