I have clumsy modifier-key fingers, and I often manage to insert
control characters into my code that prevent compilation. That's why I
leave this option on:
Format->Show Control Characters (XCode 1.5)
You can see them, and delete them, without any retyping of entire
lines. Hope that helps!
