Help! My debugger has gone insane! It's displaying the bottom part of the list of variables, ie nothing useful! Did someone have a fix for this? Please?

Sometimes, the variable list is just plain blank. Here's an example:

I have checked, and the debugger _is_ running. I can interact with it on the console. But I've been relying on the GUI lately.

Your responses [solutions?!] are greatly appreciated!
