I reported a bug that sounds similar to this one, and they now claim that it is fixed in Xcode 1.5 (I haven't yet been able to verify as we've postponed our upgrade). What version of Xcode are you running?

If I stop the build and try again, everything works fine.

FYI - Not 100% repeatable, Predictive compilation turned OFF and no distributed builds.
