how do I invoke the target editor?

  • Subject: how do I invoke the target editor?

I am just starting in Xcode and I am having trouble getting the Target editor to come up. In one project that I have (copied from elsewhere), if I click on the target in the Groups and Files pane, it comes up in the embedded editor pane and I can edit the various target and .plist settings. In a new project I created, if I click on the target, the editor does not come up. I have scanned the documentation with no luck. How do I get the Target editor to come up?

Thanks for any help,

Don
