Displaying error lines with osacompile in Xcode 2.1

  • Subject: Displaying error lines with osacompile in Xcode 2.1

I've got a weird problem with Xcode 2.1 that I'm trying to shed some light on. When I compile my Applescript Automator actions, the error line indication support doesn't seem to be working. For example, if I have errors in the script, Xcode will report the errors as usual but *won't* mark the lines in the editor in error with a red cross. It's almost as if the post-processing of the output of osacompile just isn't taking place.

However, if I compile a regular Applescript Studio application, errors are flagged in the source correctly which makes me think this is a problem in the way the Applescript Action projects are set up rather than something fundamentally wrong.

Anyone got any ideas? I've had a search thru' the project configuration options and compared the raw build lines but I can't really put my finger on what I need to tweak here.

Many thanks in advance

Scott...
