Feature request: "Close All Windows" command

  • Subject: Feature request: "Close All Windows" command

1. My work habits tend to leave lots of windows open, often more than 40 of them. Eventually, it is time to clean up. It would be really handy to have a "Close All" command that will close all file Editor windows, but leave the Xcode-managed windows (Project, Activity Viewer, Debugger, Find, Logs, etc) open.

2. It would also be very nice if the "command-W" key combination did NOT close the Project. That is, "command-W" should be disabled if the frontmost window is the Project window. There is already a separate key combination "command-control-W" that closes the Project, so it should be possible to disambiguate the two command key combinations.

Thanks.

Scott Fraser
