I've actually noticed the exact opposite behavior, but here is my problem. My work system is a dual monitor setup (laptop + a Dell monitor), and I once in a while have the unhideable pointer problems. More commonly, I end up with two pointers, one on each screen. The pointer on my secondary screen doesn't move; call it the ghost pointer. When I move the pointer on the primary screen to the secondary screen, the ghost pointer disappears for a while. As near as I can tell, this tends to happen more often after I wake my machine from sleep. The more often I go into sleep/wake cycles the flakier things seem to get (but they stabilize in flakiness after about the 3rd cycle) If any of the Apple guys can tell me how to debug this (I can't make it happen, so Shark isn't a lot of help), I'll be glad to try to capture an instruction stream.
Thanks,
Cem Karan
