Is there a universal binary of Xcode itself?

  • Subject: Is there a universal binary of Xcode itself?

I'm planning to order a new machine and am debating a Power Mac G5 versus an Intel-based Transition Kit system (which my team doesn't yet have).

Since the only significant use of the machine will be Xcode, I wonder if somebody can tell me whether it comes with an Intel-native version of Xcode itself.

I am hoping somebody from Apple can comment, since other people probably can't due to NDA restrictions...

Thanks!
