I'm planning to order a new machine and am debating a Power Mac G5 versus an Intel-based Transition Kit system (which my team doesn't yet have).

Since the only significant use of the machine will be Xcode, I wonder if somebody can tell me whether it comes with an Intel- native version of Xcode itself.

Since nobody jumped on me for missing the obvious, I will do it myself:

I could have simply used the "lipo" tool to find out for myself:

-----
slug:~ mason$ lipo -info /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/ MacOS/Xcode
Architectures in the fat file: /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app/ Contents/MacOS/Xcode are: i386 ppc

Cool!
