Hi,
Some of my students write code that segfaults/sigbusses - in fact, I
do it sometimes too :-). If they're running their code within Xcode
then the debugger window automatically appears, which we haven't told
them about (the class isn't advanced enough for doing gdb) and
confuses them. Is it possible to set something such that Xcode
doesn't do this? Just being told "program has terminated due to
signal SIGSEGV" or "bus error - core dumped" or something in the run
log would be sufficient, but I've looked at the prefs window and the
archives for this list and can't see anything to suggest how to do
this. Is this possible with some defaults write or something?
Thanks,
Graham.
