Java and gutter error flags

After upgrading from Xcode 2.0 to 2.2, red error flags
were no longer showing up in the gutter of the source
code window. I can still get them for non-Java classes
or in the Build Results source code pane with Java
classes in a Cocoa project. The Build Results window
knows where the error occurs, and double clicking on
the error mentioned highlights the line in the source
code window.
I haven't found any info on others having this
problem. I've tried reinstalling and deleting the
prefs, to no avail. Does anybody know what could be
wrong?
