Bug of the dock?

  • Subject: Bug of the dock?

Hi everyone,
Recently, I found something interesting about the dock.
Our team is coding a project on scanner, and we want to change the icon in the dock when different scanners are connected to the computer.(with callback function) And we found that, after we connected the scanner A to the computer, the dock showed the icon A, and then we "right click" the icon, then we disconnected the scanner A and connect the scanner B, the icon in the dock became icon B, everything was going OK before we clicked on the desktop which means cancel the "right-click-menu", the icon B turned back to icon A ......
However, we do not necessarily care about our project. We can try to rebuild a project(cannot be too small).
First, add some meaningless words into anyplace we like, such as "123456", this will surely cause some errors when we build the project.
Second, click the "Build" and "right click" the icon of the Xcode in the dock as soon as possible. And there will be a red number on the icon of the Xcode(such as "4").
Third, we click anyplace we like, just to cancel the "right-click- menu", and we will find that the red number disappears.
Fourth, click other application first and then click the icon of Xcode, the red number appears.
Fifth, we delete the "123456" we have just typed, and build again, and "right-click" the icon of Xcode as soon as possible, and we will find that the red number disappears, after that we click anyplace we like and find that the red number appear again ......
what a mass !

      Is this a bug?

      Any help will be welcome.

Kevin
