Overzealous CodeSense Completion

Since upgrading to Xcode 2.2 CodeSense has been overzealously accepting its own suggestions. For example, if I start typing "for (int i=", if I'm not quick enough before hitting the "=" I end up with "for (int int=". It seems that any non-alphanumeric accepts the default suggestion. I don't think this used to be the case in pre-2.x days. Is there a way to change it so only Return accepts the suggestion?
