hmmm
you're talking about Finder? right?
Correct.
my all java files by default (Open with) should be opened with
CodeWarrior
just like properties files
but java files behave ok in xcode
and properties don't
I'm definitely missing something then. What's the difference between
"opening" and "behaving"?
I was working with the understanding that we wanted to just
double-click on a .properties file (I don't know what that is yet, but
it shouldn't matter) and have it open in an Xcode editor. But the
statement above seems to be saying they should open in CodeWarrior by
default?
(Don't knock yourself out trying to reply quickly, I'm on my way home
for the weekend. Any response you send me won't be seen until Monday
morning at the earliest:)
I'd prefer not to change that default "opener"
Um, so we only want to do this to a few of these .properties files? You
realize that if you did as I suggested, those files will (or should, I
think:) open with Xcode when you double-click them now, right? I hope
that's what you were after, otherwise I apologize.
thanks
Anytime! (hopefully I helped and didn't hurt ...)
