So you are interested in project generation and project syncing via AppleScript?

I am interested in programatic generating/editing of Xcode project in any way. From your answers it seem to me that I will need to generate pbxproj file directly (I wanted to workaround it with applescript). I have read that someone asked before about pbxproj file format without any response and I must ask the same question again: is there any documentation of Xcode project format?

Not currently. We don't officially support editing of the project file format outside of Xcode.

Scott

I have made some experiments and realized that it is possible to generate pbxproj in plist format and Xcode will accept it (but overwrite it immediately).

Thanks for your response - it saved a lot of useless attempts with applescripting Xcode.
