The only languages I know that exist are Objective C, Cocoa, Carbon,
and Java. What do I use?
Cocoa and Carbon aren't languages, they are development frameworks.
Cocoa can be used by Obj-C as well as Java. While Java is
cross-platform, Cocoa-Java isn't.
As of languages, you have about the same choices as you have on Linux.
As you need it cross-platform, you have to use either platform
independant languages (Java, PHP, ...) or you have to build a cross
compilation environment yourself.
