OpenEXR libs for gcc 4.0?

I've been rebuilding my application using the new gcc 4.0 compiler, and I quit on startup with a SIGTRAP on #0 0x8fe05e9c in __dyld__ZN4dyld5_mainEPK11mach_headeriPPKcS5_S5_

I suspect the problem is that the OpenEXR libraries I link to were compiled with gcc 3.3. The OpenEXR site only has the gcc 3.3 compiled libraries, and I have been unable to find newer ones. Has anyone here rebuild these with 4.0?

Is the above consistent with mismatched libraries?
