I received my Developer Transition System today, but none of my DVI
cables or adapters seem to fit the video card's connector.  No
adapters were included in the kit.  Must I also order a new Apple
Cinema display for to get this thing to work?  What types of displays
are others using with it?  All the local PC outlet stores' whatever-
brand LCD's and CRT's were hardwired with VGA connectors, and none of
them had the right adapters...

We have had great success with the Samsung SyncMaster 213T (1600x1200) and the very cheap Dell UltraSharp 20.1 widescreen LCD display w/DVI.  Dealmac.com has info that drops the price to $427 including shipping.

Here is the info from dealmac:

Dell home offers the Dell UltraSharp 20.1 widescreen LCD display w/DVI
for $749 with free shipping. Coupon codes "KFJV??5PS$101N"
and "C07TR1WFGJ18SF" drop the price to $426.85. That's $7
under our last mention and the lowest total price we've seen
for this display since May. The 2005FPW sports a native
resolution of 1680x1050, 600:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2
brightness, an integrated 4-port USB 2.0 hub, and S-Video,
composite video, DVI, and VGA inputs. Offer ends July 22 at
7 am ET or at 3,000 uses.
