Ours arrived in the same condition. The CPU heat sink had popped off
and was flopping around in the box. One of our PC guys replaced the
messed up thermal pad and popped the heat sink back on for us.
Then we were doubly unamused when we figured out it needed a DVI
display and we didn't have one... :-(
