Hi THS,

Have you tried reversing the constant with the variable (left & right) in the equation?
Have you tried substituting a '#define' or enum reference for the character constant?
Are there any answers for you at <http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/DeveloperTools/GCC4.html>
