[Suggestion] Opening old projects in XCode 2.1

Ok, so lets assume I have a pre 2.1 project called MyProject.xcode

When I open this up in XCode 2.1 it asks me if i want to copy it and upgrade it. This is nice.

However, since I still have a lot of old aliases and other references to MyProject.xcode, I have found myself opening it up unintentionally instead of MyProject.xcodeproj.

Might I suggest that when XCode opens a .xcode file that it check to see if the .xcodeproj version already exists in the same location before offering to convert it. Either it could just open the new version, or offer me the option to open it or convert it again.

Matt Gough
