What was the URL you used to checkout from? Is the host name "localhost"? I'm currently investigation an issue with that as well. Try using the full host name or a local file URL.

Thanks,

Tom

Xcode 2.1's Subversion support has a bug were it fails to properly parse URLs that begin with "svn://". The result is it doesn't parse the correct host name and refuses to go online. You should be able to work around this by checking out your projects using a local file URL, http, or snv+ssh.

In my case I was using http:// URLs from the beginning. I also checked my .svn/entries file to make sure this was the case. And when I change the path to the svn tool to something nonsensical, I get exactly the same error, so I'm not sure it's a parsing issue at all. It doesn't seem like Xcode is even invoking svn in the first place.

I'll definitely file a bug.
