I should have mentioned, yes - I did that. Might try making daily copies of the pref file, which should make it easier to target the culprit when it does break.


When this problem appears, is it only the Cmd+S keyboard shortcut that doesn't work, ie. can you save from the menu item?

Save and Save All are greyed out, inactive.
