Bob,
Thanks for replying .... should I be worried that every time I open the
preference pane, it shows "None" selected for my CPU in the pop-up
which has two options None and 512KB?? Even if I select 512KB, then
close and reopen System Preferences it still shows "None" ?!
Regards, Kieran

I notice I have a Hardware system preference pane on my 10.3.7
Powerbook (icon is a CPU). Is it part of the CHUD tools installation?
IT shows clock speed, POWERPC CUP INFO AND has a popup menu for L2
Cache which is always "None" even if I change to 512KB which worries
me that my cache is turned off by this system preference utility. I
cannot seem to find any documentation on it. What is it for?
It is part of the CHUD installation, it's for selecting how many CPUs
(and which CPUs) to use and how much cache they should get.
Simple as that
Bob
