Prebinding warnings with Xcode 2.0/GCC 4.0

  • Subject: Prebinding warnings with Xcode 2.0/GCC 4.0

Hi all,

I'm seeing an unusual looking prebinding warning under Xcode 2.0 and I was wondering whether anyone had seen anything similar, or knew anything about getting rid of it (should I just turn prebinding off and be done with it, I wonder?)

Here's the warning:

/usr/bin/ld: warning prebinding not disabled even though (__TEXT segment (address = 0x901c0000 size = 0xae000) of /System/Library/ Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/Versions/A/CoreFoundation overlaps with __LINKEDIT segment (address = 0x901a7000 size = 0x56764) of /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib on the assumption that the stripped output will not overlap

Kind regards,

Alastair.
