I installed Tiger and Xcode Tools on 3 machines. On 2 of them, the
Documentation preference pane presents the new documentation update/download
controls plus the old minimum font size control.
But on 1 of my machines, the Documentation preference pane only presents the
old minimum font size control. No sign of the new documentation
update/download controls. I assumed a bad install, so I ran the perl script
to uninstall Xcode Tools and reinstalled it from the DVD -- with exactly the
same result.
What's the issue? Is it just this one hardware model that isn't allowed to
update Xcode documentation? (It's an older 733 MHz G4 Power Mac.)
