Since XCode 2.0, it is possible to use text macros. But the documentation on them is rather sparse. Clearly the plugin uses files with suffix xctxtmacro which are plist. But is it possible to customize these files by putting them somewhere in the Application Support folder? I'm particularly interested in the brackets macros, since these chars [] are difficult to get on a french keyboard. (The best solution would be to have text key bindings for that, akin for the braces, but my enhancement request was not taken into account...)

Yes, using the existing macro file as a guide, you can place your own in ~/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/Specifications (/Library also works).

Also XCode 1.5 used to put a closing bracket ] when completing some method call. XCode 2 doesn't. Is it possible to restore the previous behavior?

Thanks,
