IB - cut/copy and paste, duplicate, or option-drag loses bindings?

  • Subject: IB - cut/copy and paste, duplicate, or option-drag loses bindings?

If I duplicate an item in IB (within the same parent window/nib document) it loses all of its bindings. Is this by design or a bug? (If the latter, I'll file a radar.)

Is there any way to duplicate and preserve bindings? It is somewhat tedious to reset all of the bindings if I want to make a similar element, or re-organize the view hierarchy. How do others handle this situation?

Thanks,
JIm
