If I duplicate an item in IB (within the same parent window/nib

Is there any way to duplicate and preserve bindings? It is somewhat
tedious to reset all of the bindings if I want to make a similar
element, or re-organize the view hierarchy. How do others handle
this situation?
IIRC you need to do the "special" drag where you click and hold on
the item until it gains a shadow and the green +, and then you can
drag it.
