Obviously the drop-down is still needed so you can inspect different styles.
Sheesh.

What Apple has done here is exactly right. An inspector should inspect; it
should not also "accidentally" alter something - merely looking through the
values in my various styles should not also change what style the next build
will use.

So this is an excellent change. Let's be grateful. It's the previous
behavior that was bad.

Okay, so you didn't know about the change. I guess looking through the menus
is hard. But now you do know, so what's the problem? Intelligence involves
the ability to adapt to change, so just deal. If people whine at every
change, Apple won't be able to institute any improvements at all. m.
