Yes, I understand completely. I know that changing compilers in
mid-stream can lead to trouble. I'm testing the waters with as many
bleedging edge compilers as I can get my hands on to know what kind of
problems to expect. :) (The unfortunate part is breaking them :S )

Yep, I'll continue reporting problems as encountered. I don't
suppose they'd make their bugreports on developer.apple.com publicly
available, like gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla? (Of course not, fool!)
