1) how can I make and compile a project that uses the CHUD framework and runs in both 10.3.9 AND 10.4.x?

When I first started using CHUD, I was building a CFM app, so I wrote some glue to get the function pointers dynamically using CFBundleGetFunctionPointerForName. When I switched to Mach-O, I kept that code, and now I can decide at run time where to look for the framework.

2) where is the 10.4 framework header file?

I believe that if you download and install the standalone CHUD installer, rather than just installing CHUD with XCode, then you get the header.

Can CHUD still take remote performance monitoring calls in 10.4?

Yes.
