XCode Applescript: what does Target: Build Phases options mean

Using XCode 1.5, and an AppleScript code. Regarding the project:

In the Target, Build Phases tree : there are two options Default, and Shared. What are these two options?

In the Executables tree. Double clicking on the application gives the option of : Use ... Suffix When Loading Framework with the option No, Debug or or Profile. What are these options, specificaly, the Debug option ? ( I am assuming it allows debugging inside the framework?)

I have looked in the XCode help, and have not found answers to these basic questions. Maybe there is a bigger help file somewhere else than that available from the menu?
