Targets that use the native build system use inspectors, which cannot
currently be "embedded" in another window. Java targets use the old
jambase/ProjectBuilder build system and use target editors that show
up in an editor window (or attached editor).
In the future we want all targets to use the same sort of UI for
editing target info, and we are aware that some want this information
inline in a window, while others want the information in a separate
window :)

I use Xcode in single window mode (let's not debate that here
please) and only once I was able to view the target editor in the
main window. But I have never been able to do that again. Now I
have to double-click it to open it in a separate window. Anyone
knows what the trick is to not have to do that?
Even if I expand the target and just select one of the build
phases, its editor doesn't show in the main window.
Of course, it would be even better if there was support for editing
targets in the Info/Inspector window. Or did I miss something?
