Actually, we changed the behavior so target editors always come up in
a separate window (they are no longer shown in an embedded editor) in
the recent past. In a future version of Xcode we want to provide a
way to integrate target editing better with the single window
experience.

That's the thing though, one time I single-clicked the target and
its editor appeared in the main window. But it happened only once.
I've never been able to reproduce it since. I don't know if it was
a bug or a feature, but I would like it to be a feature.
Of course, if you implement editing in the info/inspector window,
then all the better. My guess is that will come with Java targets
stop using the Jambase build system. I'm very much looking forward
to that. I'm looking forward to increased build speed.
