Every time I click Run from Xcode's build window the debugger also
runs. I didn't turn on the debugger and it just started loading
constantly when I upgraded to Xcode 2.2. I have tried to disable
the debugger through the Debug menu and other ways. Because the
debugger runs when I try to test my application, my application
runs 100x slower and makes testing impossible.
I am a very new developer and even newer to Xcode, so please be
kind. :)
Why did the debugger all the sudden start appearing and how can I
disable it?
As Markus points out, in Xcode 2.2, the Xcode debugger will
automatically attach to the running executable if it crashes.
You can turn this off in the Debugging tab of the executable
inspector ("Auto-attach debugger on crash").
