Reminds me of the alert Installer sometimes puts up, something like
"We're about to run a small program to check something in your
system; is that okay?" It doesn't need your admin password, and I
assume it doesn't write anything and doesn't send your information
across the Internet. It just... checks something. That prompt
drives me nuts because it's so dumb; it's the kind of thing I'd
expect in a Windows installer.
I keep meaning to submit a ticket about it...
