What you seem to be saying is that you prefer the non-standard C/C+ + complier that came with CW to the (as I understand) much more ANSI/ISO standard compliant complier (gcc/g++) that comes with Xcode.

Oh? I had always heard that CW was more standard-compliant than g+ +. Is there any objective data to settle the question?
