I'd just like to second the motion for adding good
code coloring to XCode, similar to what is in CodeWarrior.
It's not just cosmetics. Since CW is so responsive,
if you have forgotten the name of a constant, a class or
a function, you can just start typing possibilities, and
when you get the name right, the text color changes. Instant feedback!
This is particularly valuable when working in old code where you are
have only vague memories about what things are called.
I also tend to navigate in source files by the shapes
and colors of the text. Tapping into those hard-coded
brain parts that are designed for finding ripe blueberries.
When I have to work in non-colored source code, I probably
lose 5% or 10% productivity.
