There isn't a global "Open Recent" for regular files.

However, in the navigation bar of the editor pane is the file history menu. It's next to the previous/next navigation arrows. It shows the list of files that have been opened in that pane. Hold down the Option key and it will show the global history list for that project (i.e. the list of files that have been opened in any pane). Not exactly the same as an "Open Recent" command, but pretty darn close.
